A bomb blast and a checkpoint attack in Afghanistan have killed eight people
KABUL / HERAT: Eight people, including four security personnel, were killed in a Taliban attack on a check post in Afghanistan.
According to Afghan media, a Taliban attack on a check post in the Farsi district of Herat province killed four personnel and wounded five others, while security forces retaliated by killing 21 Taliban.
On the other hand, 2 bomb blasts in Kabul killed 8 people and injured 9, the first bomb blast near a passenger car in Chahar Qala in which 4 people were killed and 4 injured Four people were killed and five others were injured in the incident.

No group has claimed responsibility for the bombings, but an investigation is underway, according to Afghan security officials. It should be noted that a few days ago, 10 people were killed and 12 injured in bomb blasts.
