Are other Arab countries working to build relations with Israel? The Minister of Foreign Affairs issued an important statement.
Dubai, the UAE Foreign Minister, said many Arab countries are at different levels to establish relations with Israel.
According to the Arab News Agency, UAE Foreign Minister Anwar Mohammed Gargash told the American online think tank that many Arab countries are contacting Israel to establish relations and talks at various levels. He also said that the region needed a lot of help and that relations with Israel and the United Arab Emirates were developing, which would be peaceful.
“Unlike Egypt or Jordan, this is a step towards greater unity. We have not fought a war with Israel,”
Gargash added that any UAE ambassador to Israel “would be in Tel Aviv,” not Jerusalem. US President Donald Trump removed the American ambassador from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem in 2018, recognizing Jerusalem as Israel’s capital.
