CPEC projects are moving fast: PM
According to details, Prime Minister Imran Khan while addressing the inauguration ceremony said that Matiari Lahore Transmission Line is a state-of-the-art project.
I congratulate Hamad Azhar, Chinese Ambassador and others on the completion of this project. He said that in the last three years, the project has been worked on rapidly, transmission lines have become obsolete, line losses are high, due to which even if there is electricity, electricity cannot be saved, increasing line losses puts a burden on the people.
The new project will save electricity, the transmission line has been laid on modern lines and the line losses are only 4%, so far the line losses were 17%. In case of one percent line losses, the loss is several billion rupees.
The Prime Minister said that Corona had affected CPEC’s plans, but was now moving towards completion. CPEC plans will accelerate, and temporary inflation will also come down.
If money comes to the country, they will be able to lend. He said that no investment was made in the transmission line in the previous periods and thus the lines increased dramatically.
Now the focus is on industrial development as without industrial development the country cannot move forward, and the national debt cannot be repaid.
He said that increasing the use of new technology would remove obstacles to industrial development and would definitely increase the national exchequer.
