According to investigative sources, Rawalpindi Land Collector Wasim Tabish awarded influential landlords in Attock Loop. Due to influential people, land rate in Attock Loop was higher than in Rawalpindi. Rs. 13,000 was obtained, 6603 kanals 17 marlas of land in Rawalpindi was acquired for Rs. 1.67 billion 33.57 million.
Sources said that there is a clear difference in the rates of land in the two districts. In Rawalpindi, a maximum of Rs. 430,000 per canal and a minimum of Rs. Rs 18 lakh per canal was also paid.
