Saudi government announces scholarships for Pakistani students
Lahore: Saudi Ambassador Nawaf bin Saeed Al-Maliki called on Governor Punjab Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar and announced that Saudi Ambassador would give scholarships to 600 Pakistani students in 25 different Saudi universities.
The Governor of Punjab thanked the Saudi Government and Ambassador Nawaf bin Saeed Al-Maliki for the historic scholarship initiative.
In the meeting, Governor Punjab Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar termed the Pak-Saudi relations as strong. Saudi Ambassador Nawaf bin Saeed Ahmed Al-Maliki said that relations between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia are like two brothers.
On this occasion, Chaudhry Sarwar said that respect for the servants of the two holy shrines is obligatory on every Muslim. Saudi and Pakistani are brothers. Pak-Saudi relations are deep and historic, the hearts of the people of both are beating together.
No doubt Saudi Arabia has always stood shoulder to shoulder with Pakistan. Pakistan has a heartfelt and spiritual connection with Saudi Arabia, both with each other. He said that Pakistan would stand by Saudi Arabia to safeguard the integrity of Saudi Arabia.
Saudi Ambassador Nawaf bin Saeed Ahmed Al-Maliki said that Pakistan has never been left alone before and will not be left alone in the future.
