Leading journalist Naeem Ashraf Butt has claimed that a meeting of PML-N was held under the chairmanship of PML-N leader Nawaz Sharif on the current situation in Afghanistan. The policy formulated by the government should be brought in the parliament and it should proceed according to the wishes of the people of Afghanistan.

On the other hand, Moeed Yousuf, National Security Adviser to Prime Minister Imran Khan, said that the decision to recognize the Taliban government would be taken in consultation with the international community. Giving a briefing, Moeed Yousuf said that Pakistan supports everyone in Kabul.
