The threat of torrential rains and urban flooding was averted in Karachi
Karachi: Deep depression began to recede from the coastal areas of Sindh, the threat of torrential rains and urban flooding in Karachi and its environs was averted. May Allah have mercy on the Pakistanis.
According to the Meteorological Department, rain forecast till tomorrow. The deep depression was found to be moving west and northwest for 24 hours.
It was predicted that God willing, deep depression could cause torrential rains and urban flooding in Karachi and surrounding areas. Yesterday, the Deep Depression was about 240 km east and southeast of Karachi’s coast, while 200 km from Thatta.

Section 144 was enacted by the Karachi administration banning bathing on the beach. But now there is good news from the Meteorological Department that the deep depression is returning to the coastal areas of Sindh and the threat of torrential rains in Karachi has been averted, and no urban flooding is expected, as usual in Karachi. It will rain until tomorrow.
